The Self menu
Employees work in the Self tab. Managers have a second tab, Manager, for the company-wide screens. Someone whose visibility is individual never sees Manager.
Self is not a smaller copy of every admin screen. It is the work that person does for themselves: clock in, apply for leave, read a payslip, file a claim, acknowledge a policy. Approving other people stays on the Manager menu. The product page for this is the employee self-service portal.
A normal day
- Dashboard — birthdays, work anniversaries, and a card when probation is ending.
- Attendance, then Clock In/Out — Clock In when you start, Clock Out when you leave. This is hidden if the company turned self clock-in off.
- Leaves, then Applications, then Apply — for time off. Leaves Remaining shows the balance.
- Payroll — open a month and download the salary slip when HR has published it.
- News — the notice board. Mark as Read clears the NEW badge.

When a menu is missing
A missing item usually means the company has not turned that module on, you have no record yet (no journey, no claim), or your role cannot see it. Letters and biometric mapping are not on the employee profile you edit yourself; HR keeps those. Ask the person who manages employees if something you were told to use is not in the list.
