Draft, then publish
Policies on the Manager menu is the list. Acknowledgment Report is who has signed. Categories are Settings, then Policy Categories.
A policy stays Draft until you publish it. Employees do not see a draft. For what to put in an India handbook, see HR policies. This page is only how the product stores and collects a signature.
Who must read it
- Policies, then New. The screen is Create Policy.
- Write it and pick the audience: Everyone, By Department, or Specific Employees.
- Save. Status is Draft.
- From the list, Publish. Confirm Publish.
Edit opens Update Policy. Delete removes one you do not want. An onboarding template can deep-link a new hire to a policy; they still have to accept it. See onboarding.
What the employee does
Self, then Policies. Open the policy and choose Accept Policy, then Close. The list shows an Acknowledged badge. They can Download Signed Acknowledgment afterwards. The same file can appear in My Documents under the Policies filter.
The acknowledgment report
Policies, then Acknowledgment Report. Filter Acknowledged to see who has signed and who has not. View Signature opens one person’s acceptance. Export CSV is the list for your records.
News is a different tool. A notice on the notice board does not collect an acceptance. Use a policy when you need proof they read it.
